Stucco as Art is a
division of Sgraffito Design, a mural art and interior design company
created in 1989 and based in Toronto, Canada.
Catalino, the founder
of Sgraffito Design and Principal Artist, has a Master in Fine Arts
and over 20 years of experience as a full-time professional artist. He
has dedicated his entire career to stucco-based mural art and to adapting a
Renaissance technique for the contemporary customer (this original Renaissance
mural art technique, based on colored mortars, is called Sgraffito - hence
the name of our company.) Since 1978, Catalino has created over 20,000sqf (1850sqm) of mural art using real European stucco, for commercial as well as
residential customers in Europe and Canada. You can view a selection of

Our customers
include architects, interior designers, facility managers, home owners
and businesses.
We see ourselves as
your partners in obtaining the desired solution. If you have a clear idea

Since one of our principles is "no surprises", for larger jobs,
we create samples of color and texture, and we may put the design on computer,
to help you visualize it and decide if that is really what you want.
Prices are by sq. f.
(or sq. m.) for decorative finishes, and by piece (or set) for mural art and
decorative panels.
Distance is not an
issue: we can ship decorative
panels, and we may travel for on-site jobs.
